Florida has some of the earliest voter registration deadlines in the United States. Florida also requires a photo I.D. to vote. Be prepared to vote in Florida.

Absentee ballot deadlines
Absentee ballots must be requested by October 24. Absentee ballots may be returned to your polling place in person on November 3 by 7:00 pm. If mailing your absentee ballot, it must be received by November 3 at 7:00 pm.
Anyone can request an absentee ballot to vote-by-mail in Florida. A request to vote-by-mail can be made in person or online. Details here.
The request must include the following information:
- Voter name
- Voter address
- Voter date of birth
- The voter’s signature
Early Voting
Florida’s early voting period runs from Monday, October 19, 2020 to Monday, November 2, 2020, but this may be different based on where you live. Florida will release a full slate of available dates and times after October 4.
