Absentee ballot deadlines
Absentee ballots must be requested by October 29 at 5:00 p.m. All voters in Wisconsin can request an absentee ballot be mailed to them for any reason. Details here.
You must provide a photo ID with your absentee ballot request. Valid photo types of ID include:
- A Wisconsin DOT-issued driver license (even if driving privileges are revoked or suspended)
- A Wisconsin DOT-issued identification card
- A Military ID card issued by the U.S. Uniformed Services (including retired and dependent uniformed service IDs)
- A U.S. passport book or card
The period for absentee in-person voting runs from Tuesday, October 20, 2020 to Sunday, November 1, 2020, but dates and hours may vary based on where you live.
