What is Project 2025?
Project 2025's plans touch all aspects of American life. Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts has referred to the plan as "institutionalizing Trumpism."

Project 2025 is a 900-page policy plan created by the right-wing Heritage Foundation and over 140 former Trump staffers and MAGA allies. Project 2025 outlines concrete procedures for radically changing how government works, from eliminating popular departments to weaponizing federal agencies. The plan consolidates power into a strong executive who can use the power of the federal government in a partisan way against citizens, journalists or anyone against whom the president has a grievance.
Project 2025 also reduces access to critical healthcare resources, including placing further restrictions on abortion that would amount to a national ban and severely restrict doctors’ abilities to perform routine reproductive healthcare procedures that are wholly unrelated to abortion. It also abolishes key provisions of Obamacare and allows insurance companies to again discriminate against people with preexisting health conditions.

Through a series of proposals that can be broken into several basic categories:
Abortion and Healthcare
Project 2025 would both reduce access to healthcare and make it more expensive. It would do this through a series or restrictions, cuts and repeals that include ending abortion access, repealing the Affordable Care Act, privatizing Medicare and drastically reducing Medicaid spending.
